1. General information
These General Terms of Sale govern the contractual relationship between Lara Olium (hereinafter, “the Seller”) and the user who makes a purchase through the website www.laraolium.com (hereinafter, “the Buyer”), in accordance with Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services, Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 approving the Consolidated Text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users, and other applicable regulations.
Placing an order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these General Terms of Sale.
2. Products and prices
Lara Olium sells Extra Virgin Olive Oil (AOVE), Picual variety, from its own harvest. The available products, along with their features and prices, are described in the online shop.
- All prices shown include applicable VAT and are expressed in euros (€).
- Lara Olium reserves the right to change prices at any time; the price in effect at the time the order is placed will apply.
- Products are subject to stock availability. If a requested product is unavailable, the Buyer will be informed and the amount paid will be refunded in full.
3. Purchase process
To make a purchase on laraolium.com, the process is as follows:
- Select the desired product and add it to the cart.
- Go to the cart and review the selected products.
- Fill in the shipping and billing details form.
- Select the payment method and confirm the order.
- You will receive an order confirmation email with a summary of the purchase.
The sales contract is finalised when the Buyer receives the order confirmation by email.
4. Payment methods
Lara Olium accepts the following payment methods:
- Credit/debit card: Visa, Mastercard and other common cards, via a secure payment gateway with SSL encryption.
- Bank transfer: the order will be processed once receipt of payment is confirmed.
- PayPal (if available at the time of order).
Lara Olium does not store customers’ payment details. All transactions are carried out through secure, certified payment gateways.
5. Shipping and delivery times
- Shipping area: the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands. For shipments to the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, please contact us at info@laraolium.com.
- Preparation time: orders are prepared within 1 to 2 business days of payment confirmation.
- Delivery time: between 2 and 5 business days from dispatch of the order, depending on the destination area.
- Shipping costs: shipping costs will be calculated and shown before completing the order. Free shipping may apply above a minimum purchase amount indicated in the shop.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances beyond Lara Olium’s control (public holidays, courier issues, etc.). In the event of a significant delay, the Buyer will be notified by email.
6. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with Article 102 of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the Buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the order, without needing to state a reason.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Buyer must notify Lara Olium before the 14-day period expires, by contacting us through:
- Email: info@laraolium.com, stating the order number and the intention to withdraw.
The right of withdrawal does not apply in the following cases:
- Products that may deteriorate or expire quickly.
- Sealed products that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons and that have been unsealed after delivery.
7. Returns and refunds policy
Lara Olium accepts returns in the following cases:
7.1 Defective or damaged product
If the product received has manufacturing defects or arrived damaged during shipping, the Buyer must notify us within a maximum of 48 hours of receiving the order, by sending an email to info@laraolium.com with:
- Order number.
- Description of the damage or defect.
- Photographs of the product and packaging.
In these cases, Lara Olium will cover the collection costs and, at the Buyer’s choice, will either replace the product or fully refund the amount paid.
7.2 Exercising the right of withdrawal
If the Buyer exercises the right of withdrawal within the 14-day period, the product must be returned in its original condition, unopened and in its original packaging. Return shipping costs will be borne by the Buyer, unless the product is defective.
Once the returned product has been received and its condition verified, Lara Olium will refund the amount paid (excluding original shipping costs) within a maximum of 14 calendar days, using the same payment method used for the purchase.
8. Warranties
All Lara Olium products come with the legal warranties established under Spanish and European consumer protection regulations. Extra virgin olive oil has a best-before date indicated on the container. We recommend consuming it preferably before that date and storing the product in a cool, dry place away from direct light.
9. Dispute resolution
In the event of a dispute arising from the purchase, the Buyer may access the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Notwithstanding the above, for any complaint you can contact Lara Olium directly at info@laraolium.com.
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. To resolve any dispute that may arise regarding the interpretation, performance or execution of these Terms, the parties agree to submit to the Courts and Tribunals of the Buyer’s domicile, in accordance with consumer protection regulations.
